“It’s the first time that we’ve been working constantly on one sort of the work for a long time, dedicating 5 days to performing the same task. That is the most sustainable contribution that we have ever made, apart from the painting in Novi Marof. I used to take care of the garden when I lived in my parents’ house, so I volunteered to trim the grass. In the morning, we had a visit from a lady from the institute of protecting cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. It was pretty interesting to know some details about living in this country. In the evening Katia, Freddy and I cooked an improvised Spanish Omelette and, surprisingly, it was extremely delicious.
“Another day in the old train station. It begins to feel like home. We can easily go from one place to another and feel like we are part of the house. Today one of the members of the association came to speak to us and tell us a bit more about the project for the house and how it is essential to meet all the requisite criteria when renovating a national building.
After that, we finally started painting the windows. The colour choice was great and in the end they looked gorgeous.
Job done, it was time to have lunch and relax a little.
Later in the afternoon, we went to visit another town nearby called Plzen. We had a walk around the town and sat in a small cafe for a little chat. #qualitytime”
