World Life Experience “Ambassadors”


(General Conditions)


  1. The Event World life Experience is organized by Top Experience, Lda., headquartered at Av. Conselheiro Fernando de Sousa 19 16º Dto - 1070-072 LISBON, also referred to in the current General Conditions as Organization.

  2. All rights to the event and the experience belong, unequivocally, to its Organization.

  3. Top Experience is the organizer of World Life Experience and has all rights over the content, the program, and the event model.

  4. Top Experience is the event’s promoter and owner of the international brand “World Life Experience”, the intellectual property rights of the project and event designated by the brand’s name.

  5. Top Experience owns the rights to images, copy and any product of the Event/Journey.

  6. In case any unforeseen events or force majeure situations lead to delays and/or changes to the dates established for the completion of the World Life Experience event, and force changes on the General Conditions, the participant is not entitled to any type of indemnification.

  7. In case the even World Life Experience does not take place, the participant is not entitled to any type of indemnification.

  8. Top Experience has the right to alter or cancel the event in case of financial issues.

  9. Top Experience has the right to alter or cancel the event in case of death.

  10. Top Experience has the right to alter or cancel the event in case of kidnapping.

  11. Top Experience has the right to cancel, change or abstain from carrying out the event if, for any unforeseen reason, the Event’s security is compromised. 






  1. WORLD LIFE EXPERIENCE is an educational and cultural project, capable of providing the necessary social skills for volunteers to become global citizens.

  2. Our objective is to transform volunteers into global citizens through cultural education and social programs, providing unique skills to create a positive impact in their local communities contributing to greater sustainability in the world.

  3. Promoting social responsibility through hands-on involvement with local organizations and global NGOs, raising awareness of the importance of sustainability in the world.

  4. World Life Experience 3rd Edition will take 12 people, all from different parts of the globe on an adventure through 20 countries, for one year. This is a unique experience. Each individual, though working as part of a team, will bring their own unique insight going through a process of learning and experiences that will give the tools to become a changemaker when returning back to their communities.

  5. This is a private social project that seeks to create stronger ties and greater cooperation between people, companies and non-governmental organizations geared toward social responsibility missions to generate better visibility and resourcing opportunities for social and humanitarian projects.

  6. Top Experience is responsible, solely, for the content, information and application processes directly and exclusively connected with the official channels of World Life Experience.

  7. The promoting entity is headquartered in Portugal, Europe and therefore any disputes must be resolved in the competent court of that country.



(Event Conditions)


  1. World Life Experience reserves the right to implement changes to the travel plan or improvements, at any moment and without prior notice, as long as such does not imperil each participant’s physical and psychological integrity, without the payment of any type of indemnification whatsoever.

  2. It is the Organization’s duty to define the rules to ensure the proper functioning of the event, namely those set forth in the regulation, at the site www.worldlifeexperience.com.

  3. The Organization shall take any measures it deems appropriate to ensure the attainment of the established standards, and, for that purpose, it may draft any additional amendments that may be deemed necessary.



(Applicant Requirements)


  1. The event is aimed at all individuals, who fulfill the basic requirements outlined in these regulations.

  2. All Nationalities are eligible to participate.

  3. The applicant should be a good fit with the purpose of the project. More specifically, the applicant should be able to demonstrate throughout the different stages of application, that the basic requirements for application validation can be met. These include, but are not limited to: 


a. Ages between 21 and 45;

b. Intermediate level of English;

c. Satisfactory physical aptitude for the structure of the event (medical certificate of health);

d. Having no criminal record;

e. Being legally entitled to live in their current country of residence.



    4. We are searching for a Volunteer profile with the following traits:

a. Empathetic.

b. Responsible.

c. Compassionate.

d. Kind.

e. Humble.

f. Respectful and tolerant. 

g. Flexible.

h. Sociable.

i. Capacity to adapt and to learn.

j. Sense of initiative.

k. Ability to work in a team.


    5. The promoter’s workers and family are not eligible to apply.
    6. Applications should be submitted individually on the World Life Experience website: www.worldlifeexperience.com.
    7. The selection process for participants will comprise five distinct application steps on the first stage and applications will only be    

       considered valid upon correct completion of all application steps.
    8. Only applications that meet the requirements included in these regulations and that provide the information requested in the forms shall

        be considered.
    9. When completing the questionnaires, all of the information provided must be true. Applications containing any information which is    

       found to be untrue shall be excluded.



(Application Conditions)


  1. When applying to participate in the project, applicants undertake to be available to participate in the World Life Experience for the duration of 1 year and to take part in activities related to culture, entertainment and social responsibility all over the world.

  2. The applicant also agrees to be prepared to join a group of 11 people and to participate in a trip around the world.

  3. The applicant is willing to promote the program by sharing his/her experiences with the world through his/her communications channels.

  4. The 12 selected participants will have to sign a service provision contract that will be valid for the duration of the event.

  5. The group of 12 people shall be accompanied throughout the whole trip by at least 1 member of the World Life Experience team staff, in order to ensure the necessary safety and general conditions for the success of the trip. 

  6. Top Experience does not have the right to substitute any candidate during the Event only in the case of withdrawals.



(Financial Conditions)


  1. All travel, accommodation and transportation expenses in connection with the event are paid by the promoter.

  2. All selected applicants are entitled to a monthly remuneration guaranteed to all participants of €600/month (six hundred euros) as payment for their participation in the activities, for content creation, and, for sharing their experiences.

  3. In case of withdrawal, the participant shall not have the right to receive any amount, as well as any type of indemnification, though, his/her trip back home may not be supported by the Organization.

  4. The break period provided for within the scope of the project (one 45 to 60-day period of rest each during the event for participants to return home).





  1. 20 countries shall be visited throughout the event, with a stay of about 15 days in each country, divided as follows: 8 days undergoing volunteer work, 4 days getting to know the place and 3 days off.

  1. Applications to enter the World Life Experience – Ambassadors 2021 event are open from February 25th, 2019 until the favorable financial conditions are complete for the beginning of the selection process.

  2. All the Application and Selection process is conducted by World Life Experience multidisciplinary team.

  3. The selection process shall take place after the applications period ends.

  4. 60 days will be required to analyze and score all the applications.

  5. All the applicants will be notified by email before we announce the results.

  6. Selected Ambassadors will be announced on our website after confirmed.

  7. The trip will begin at least 3 months after the announcement of the results.



(Application Process)


  1. The candidates deemed eligible to participate in the World Life Experience Event shall submit their application at the website www.worldlifeexperience.com.

  2. The application is free, no fee is associated with the application process.

  3. Registration shall carry out by the applicants on our website, signing in submitting the name, e-mail address, and password.

  4. The World Life Experience – Ambassadors 2021 application process comprises 3 different stages.

  5. After Logging in, participants can access the Ambassador application page.

  6. On the 1st step - Applicants will have the option to share the project on their social networks, refer friends via email, and accept the terms&conditions  and the privacy policy.

  7. On the 2nd step - A personal information form. 

  8. On the 3rd step - A challenge will be presented.

  9. On the 4th step - Values, purposes, social ability, and group behavior surveys will be conducted.

  10. On the 5th step - An English language test.

  11. On the 6th step - Reasoning questions.

  12. On the 7th step - Your Social interests and experiences.

  13. On the 8th step - Your goals and projections.

  14. On the 9th step - Some preferential questions.

  15. On the 10th step - Submit your video.

  16. On the 11th step - Sustainable Development Goals Course.

  17. On the 12th step - Share a local NGO.

  18. On the 12th step - Self Interview.

  19. Upon the completion of all the stages, participants shall receive an e-mail confirming the successful submission of their application.

  20. The selection process will begin when favorable financial conditions are established.

  21. Applicants will receive to their registered email address provided, the results of their application 60 days after the beginning of the selection process. 



(Selection Methodology)


  1. All the process is developed, analyzed, and scrutinized by a multidisciplinary WLE team, composed by 5 judges or more.

  2. The selection process will begin when favorable financial conditions are attained to accomplish the World Life Experience Ambassadors 2021.

  3. The selection process will take place after an official announcement.

  4. The Selection method developed is based on two processes, scoring, and voting:

    1. Surveys will be scored according to predefined assessments by WLE team.

    2. Video elements will be reviewed, evaluated and voted by the WLE judges.

  5. The WLE team will select the 11 people to travel, all the participants “Selected” will be contacted before announced. 





  1. A total of 12 applications will be selected by a multidisciplinary team of judges committed to restricted rules and values to ensure a clear, transparent, and fair process to all the participants. 

  2. The team members of WLE judges are in the same level of integrity and equality, subjected to a regulation agreement.

  3. In case of an applicant withdraw or unable to participate before the event, a new applicant should be selected to take their place by a multidisciplinary WLE team.


(WLE Membership)

All Subscribed WLE Members will:

  1. Receive a report of the application to improve their performance.

  2. Get a certificate with the application score to improve their Linkedin Profile.

  3. Be in touch with the WLE team by WhatsApp.



  1. All the participants will be insured for travel by the company.

  2. All medical expenses during the trip must be supported by the participant and must be claimed for the reimbursement to the insurer.





  1. The costs resulting from obtaining visas for entry into the different countries shall be assumed by the participants.

  2. The Participants shall have sole responsibility for complying with the necessary requirements and formalities to obtain the visa.

  3. Participants are responsible for all personal documents (passport, ID cards and visas).





  1. All the participants shall be vaccinated and ensure the proper prevention procedures as advised in the mandatory traveler’s medical appointment, to take place in the country of origin prior to the beginning of the trip.

  2. The record must include the vaccines indicated by the traveler’s medical appointment, such as Yellow Fever, Cholera, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Dengue Fever e TD Polio.

  3. All expenses pertaining to vaccination are to be borne by the selected participants.




(Applicable Law and Competent Court)


  1. Participants expressly and unequivocally agree that this Terms and Conditions are subject to the regulation of the Portuguese Law, expressly disclaiming the applicability to it of any other legal, regulatory or conventional provisions of Law.

  2. Without prejudice to access to the relevant judicial channels, in the event of claim and relief for disputes of a value no greater than the threshold value for courts of the first instance, on the grounds of non-compliance, by Top Experience Lda., as set out in the applicable legislation, Top Experience Lda. offers the Customer access to the [Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo, Rua dos Douradores, 116, 2º andar, 1100-207 Lisboa]. More information at "Portal do Consumidor" (www.consumidor.pt).

  3. In order to resolve any dispute arising from the execution or interpretation of this Terms and Conditions, the participants consider the Portuguese Law as applicable and specify as competent the Civil Court of the District of Lisbon, with express waiver of any other.



(Omissions and Issues of Interpretation)


  1. All omissions and issues of interpretation in connection with these Regulations must be submitted to the following email address: support@worldlifeexperience.com

  2. The promoters of the event are exclusively responsible for resolving the issues and omissions provided for in the preceding paragraph and shall be disclosed by the means deemed most convenient.
