The Program

Future Stars runs a children's home in Buduburam refugee camp. Our children's home was started in order to give our primary school students a safe and healthy environment to live in. There are currently thirty-four children living in the home. We pride ourselves on the environment we've created; it is one of love, happiness, and support. Future Stars' director, Shadrack Donkor, lives in the home and with the help of our staff ensures that all of our children are healthy mentally and physically. Every day at our school is magical; all of our children are inspirational, and continually motivate us to do everything possible to help them achieve their dreams.

About Future Stars

We aim to improve health and educational opportunities for the less privileged children in the Buduburam community through projects which rely on the support of volunteers from around the world. Our work supports the principles of the UN Global Compact and aims to fulfill the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Our vision is to become the driving force in education, health, and safety for the impoverished in Ghana.
